The Norvin in 1969

The Norton/Vincent combination was almost invincible, culminating in the unlimited race at Bathurst where the bike repeatedly broke the lap record with Eric Debenham aboard. Victory however, was snatched away on the last lap by a loose float bowl retaining nut. Eric was only able to do 145 mph without the bike misfireing!
